Harri Gustafsberg (Ph.D)
Harri Gustafsberg is a well-seasoned coach with experience in coaching and training in various fields and arenas.
Harri worked for over 22 years as an operator, trainer and a leader in the Finnish Police Special Unit.
Besides his love for coaching, Harri is a renowned author, a researcher and an award-winning business speaker on various forums.
Harri's doctoral dissertation in resilience and stress management (”Do people get shot because some cops Panic?”) with the University of Tampere, Finland has been ground breaking. The coaching methods aimed at improving the individual's resilience has attracted a lot of interest. The method has been scientifically developed and pragmatically acid tested by professionals operating in the real world, in cooperation with Toronto University.
Judith P. Andersen (Ph.D)
Professor Andersen is a health psychologist who received her Ph.D. at the University of California, Irvine.
She completed her post-doctoral studies at Cornell University. Prof. Andersen specializes in the psychophysiology of stress-related mental and physical health issues.
She has two decades of experience working with populations exposed to severe and chronic stress including combat soldiers and police.
Prof Andersen has over 50 research publications concerning stress, resilience and health. She has served on advisory committees to the Government of Canada in 2014 and 2016 concerning the health implications of severe stress for public safety workers and soldiers.
Currently, Professor Andersen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Affiliated Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. She is the director of the Health Adaptation Research on Trauma (HART) Lab at the University of Toronto.
Her ongoing research projects include measuring health and performance changes associated with resilience training among police and special forces teams in Canada, the United States and Europe.
Further, she is working to customize evidence-based resilience programs for different sectors of first responders and the general public.
Joseph P. Arpaia (MD)
Dr. Arpaia received his B.S in Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology and his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine.
His medical specialty is psychiatry and he has maintained a private practice for over 20 years in Eugene, OR.
Dr. Arpaia’s clinical and research specialty is focused on helping people deal more effectively with stress and stress-related conditions.
He has developed a systematic and efficient method for alleviating the effects of stress and training people to increase their resilience under pressure.
Teemu Karppinen (BBA)
Teemu is the COO at Suomen Mentoritiimi and a professional coach specializing in strengthening mental and physical performance, stress management, self-management and improving achievement.
Teemu has been coaching for over two decades and has given over 10.000 coaching sessions. Hundreds of professionals in various fields have already taken part in Teemu's popular coaching, e.g. CEOs and professional athletes. He has coached board members as well as staff in various organizations in Finland and abroad.
In addition to the Bachelor of Business Administration degree, Teemu is a Mind Coach® Certified Trainer, MB-Master Coach and TL-Personal Trainer.
